After some time working on my first iPhone application simply codenamed “TvGuide”, it was getting time to give the child a real name and a logo. I have been able to name the child, but haven’t been able to make a logo of which I’m fully satisfied of. So without further ado I present to you “Be Tv”!
The guide is targeted at the Belgian market, but most large European channels are listed as well. The application will be made available for free in the App Store, when it gets released. Expect a blog post about it with some screenshots in the near future.
I have included some logo prototypes (which do need some tweaking) and await any feedback. I’m most fond of the left version, but think the television is a bit dull and too blue. The others do not look that great on the iPhone itself due to the small image dimension (57×57). My graphical skills are somewhat slim hence the simplicity of the design, I came up with these using Inkscape, which turned out to be relatively easy to use for a novice like me.
