It has finally happened, Be Tv has been approved and can be downloaded in the Belgian App Store. After being in development & testing for almost 2 months, it was time to submit version 1 to Apple. I still have lots of stuff I want to add or change, but otherwise it would never hit the App Store. It took Apple a week to approve it, but it was worth the wait. Depending on the reception of Be Tv I might make it available in the Dutch App Store too.
The new Emmer Inc website has been launched as well and for being a developer, I think it turned out ok. As for Be Tv, I’d love to hear what you guys think of it in the comments.

Good job! BeTv is looking very nice.
Here the things I’m missing:
- a reload button for ‘now playing’
- a way to set my standard time I start watching tv, I’m only at home after 7pm so the first I want to see if a select a channel are the programs after 7pm (something like an anchor #in html)
- a way to hide/reorder some channels at ‘Now Playing’
The now playing list is refreshed when you open it again, looking at the today list and changing back to now playing for instance.
The ’standard watching time’ is interesting, hadn’t really thought about it, I was planning on focusing the current program when opening the (today) detail of a channel, but that wouldn’t solve your problem.
The hide/reordering was already on the wishlist, but I didn’t know how ‘wanted’ this feature would be. (votes + 1)

Zeer leuke en goede app. Ik had vroeger alleen een web app voor TV maar deze van jou is zéér goed.
Ik hoop dat er later nog zenders bijkomen zoals Prime Star, enz… en andere nieuwigheden…
Ook info over het programma/film zou leuk zijn, maar dat is mss wat teveel gevraagd :-p lol
Maar ik ben alvast een fan!

Heb ik spontaan m’n iPhone voor gesynchroniseerd. Ben heel erg benieuwd naar/kan niet wachten tot de ‘wil ik zien’-functie en de gedetailleerde informatie.

Eindelijk eens iets gratis en vooral nuttig.
“Ook krijg je dan de mogelijkheid om programma’s die je wilt zien, te markeren met een vlag.” (vanop iPhoneclub.nl) Tip: misschien met de mogelijkheid van een alarm of sound te laten afghaan enkele minuten voor het programma begint. Ik mis soms enkele minuten omdat ik de tijd uit het oog verlies.
